1 GENERAL BOOKING POLICY AND PROCEDURE:
- CHILDREN:
1.1 Supervision of children:
1.1.1 Emanya welcomes families travelling with children and trust they shall have a wonderful experience.
1.1.2 However, we do require children to be under adult supervision and that parents or custodians take full responsibility for the conduct and safety of children travelling with them.
1.2 Rates in respect of children:
1.2.1 We offer special rates depending on the age of children. See our rate sheet in this regard.
1.2.2 Children 12 years and above will stay in their own room at the adult rate. If possible, we shall accommodate these children in adjoining rooms.
1.3 Game drives to be arranged: Children:
1.3.1 Game drives are conducted on open safari vehicles.
1.3.2 Children under 12 years are not permitted on regular game drives.
1.3.3 If arranged in advance, we can sometimes offer exclusive game drives for families. All children will then be allowed on the basis that the parent/custodian appreciates the risk and takes full responsibility for the safety of the child/children.

2 AIRFIELD TRANSFERS:
2.1 Please advise the booking office of the estimated arrival and departure times if guests are flying in to Mokuti airstrip.
2.2 Landing and parking fees at the airstrip are for the client’s account and are payable on arrival. Emanya Lodge takes no responsibility for these arrangements. The arrangement, collection and/or payment of fees will be between the guest and/or operator and Mokuti itself.
2.3 A fee will be charged for the transfer of guests from and to the airstrip as per rate sheet.
3 CHECKING IN/OUT:
3.1 Regular check-in time is from 14h00 to 20h00.
3.2 An earlier check-in time, if requested, will be considered subject to availability of rooms.
3.3 In all instances, the expected time of arrival must be advised.
3.4 Regular check out time is 10h00.
4 BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
4.1 All bookings, amendments and cancellations must be made to us in writing and will only be valid once we confirm back in writing.
4.2 Standard tour operator (STO) rates are only valid if a registered agent/tour operator does the booking and payment.
4.3 Provisional bookings made before 60 days prior to the date of arrival will be held for 7 days and will automatically be released where no written confirmation and the required deposit are received.
4.4 Provisional bookings made within the 60-day period will be held for a period of 48 hours and will automatically be released where no written confirmation and the required deposit are received.
4.5 Although every effort is made to keep rates unchanged during the year, all rates, policies and conditions are subject to change.
4.6 We offer special (REP) rates to representatives of companies/business entities using our lodge on a regular basis when travelling for business purposes. Terms and conditions apply.
5 INDIVIDUAL PROCEDURE AND CANCELLATION
5.1 The booking must be confirmed in writing and by payment of a non-refundable deposit of 50%.
5.2 The following fees will apply in the event of a confirmed booking being cancelled:
5.2.1 Before 30 days prior to arrival – 50% of the rate.
5.2.2 7–0 days prior to arrival – 100% of the rate.
5.2.3 No show – 100% of the rate.
6 GROUP BOOKING AND CANCELLATION
6.1 Bookings of more than three rooms (including guide room) will be viewed as a group booking.
6.2 Group bookings must be confirmed with a rooming list and by payment of a 50% non-refundable deposit.
6.3 Any room/s not confirmed and paid for (at least the deposit) will be lost and can be booked subject to availability at a later stage on a first come, first served basis.
6.4 The following fees apply to confirmed group bookings being cancelled:
6.4.1 60–31 days prior to arrival – 50% of the rate.
6.4.2 30–0 days prior to arrival – 100% of the rate.
6.4.3 No show – 100% of the rate.
7 GENERAL PAYMENT CONDITIONS:
7.1 Except where the online bookings platform states otherwise or where the contrary is clearly indicated or agreed in writing:
7.1.1 All bookings require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking to confirm the reservation.
7.1.2 The balance is required 30 days prior to date of arrival.
7.2 Credit cards accepted are: Master Card and Visa.
7.3 Payment should be made in Namibian dollars.

Failing to do so will result in your booking remaining in an unpaid status that could result in it being cancelled.

There’s a waterhole just in front of the pool area. They offer foot massage for free. Dinner was very nice and the entrance to Etosha is Close.
Emanya is a relatively new modern style of lodge located about 20 km outside Etosha’s eastern gate and the warm welcome we received set the tone for a very pleasant overnight stay. Everything exudes comfort and space from the rooms to the public areas including an extensive poolside deck that overlooks the lodges own water hole and selection of plains animals. The staff and their attentive service was outstanding as was the evening meal.
Amazing property, fabulous experience from start to finish. Fantastic decor, beautiful location and very comfortable and luxurious. Staff friendly and the early morning safari to Etosha was well worth doing.
That was one of the two best places we stopped at during out 3 week holidays in Namibia. We liked it so much that we extended our stay. Everything was great: personnel (smiling, trying to help you out), our room (big room, big bathroom, little details that make you think “these people really care to make this place special:), the whole place (great architecture, everything was clean and pretty, the waterhole), the dinner. We highly recommend this place.
